DermEden Anti-Dark Spot Concentrate effectively reduces dark spots and hyperpigmentation by inhibiting melanin synthesis and reducing skin inflammation, resulting in a brighter, more even skin tone and improved skin texture.

Key Features

Niacinamide (10%)

Brightening agent, anti-inflammatory, and skin barrier enhancer.

  • Reduces the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone.
  • Improves skin texture and hydration.
  • Minimizes redness and inflammation.
  • Achieves a brighter, more even complexion.
  • Skin feels smoother, softer, and more resilient.

Mechanism of Action: Melanin Inhibition: Niacinamide inhibits the transfer of melanosomes (pigment-containing cells) to keratinocytes, reducing hyperpigmentation. Anti-Inflammatory: Reduces the production of inflammatory mediators, calming irritated skin. Barrier Function: Enhances ceramide synthesis, improving the skin's barrier function and moisture retention.

Tranexamic Acid (5%)

Potent anti-pigmentation agent.

  • Effectively reduces melasma and hyperpigmentation.
  • Prevents new dark spots from forming.
  • Noticeable reduction in dark spots and discoloration.
  • Achieves a more uniform skin tone.

Mechanism of Action: Plasmin Inhibition: Tranexamic acid inhibits the conversion of plasminogen to plasmin, reducing inflammatory mediators that stimulate melanocyte activity. Melanin Production Reduction: Decreases melanocyte tyrosinase activity, leading to less melanin synthesis.
