Key Features

DN-Act complex

  • Addresses the 3 major effects of premature aging by boosting skin cell repair, stimulating cell renewal and protecting cells from oxidative stress, which is the cause of aging.
Ascorbyl Glucoside (Stabilized Vitamin C)

Antioxidant to stimulate collagen production and brighten skin.

  • Enhances collagen production, reducing wrinkles and improving skin elasticity.
  • Brightens the skin by inhibiting melanin synthesis.
  • Leads to firmer, smoother skin with a more even and radiant complexion.

Mechanism of Action: Ascorbyl Glucoside is a stable form of Vitamin C that penetrates the skin and is enzymatically converted to active ascorbic acid. It scavenges free radicals and promotes collagen synthesis by stimulating fibroblast activity.

Acetyl Tetrapeptide-15

Reduces skin sensitivity and discomfort.

  • Diminishes sensations of itching, burning, and stinging.
  • Provides a soothing effect, enhancing skin comfort during and after cleansing.

Mechanism of Action: Modulates the skin's response to external stimuli by inhibiting the release of pro-inflammatory neuropeptides, decreasing nerve stimulation and sensitivity.

Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A Palmitate)

Promotes cell turnover and collagen production.

  • Reduces wrinkles and improves skin texture by promoting epidermal renewal.
  • Results in smoother, firmer skin with reduced signs of aging.

Mechanism of Action: Converted to retinol and then to retinoic acid in the skin. It binds to nuclear receptors, influencing gene expression to increase cell proliferation and collagen synthesis.

Superoxide Dismutase

Powerful antioxidant enzyme.

  • Reduces oxidative stress in skin cells, preventing premature aging.
  • Protects skin from environmental aggressors, maintaining skin health and vitality.

Mechanism of Action: Neutralizes superoxide radicals by catalyzing their conversion into oxygen and hydrogen peroxide, protecting cells from oxidative damage.

Tocopherol (Vitamin E)

Antioxidant

  • Reduces oxidative stress and supports skin healing processes.
  • Enhances skin health and reduces signs of aging.

Mechanism of Action: Tocopherol neutralizes free radicals by donating electrons, preventing oxidative damage to skin lipids and proteins.

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil

Emollient and antioxidant.

  • Strengthens skin barrier and protects against oxidative stress.
  • Enhances skin smoothness and shields from environmental damage.

Mechanism of Action: Rich in linoleic acid and Vitamin E, it nourishes the skin, replenishes lipids, and provides antioxidant protection.
