Revitol AHA Foaming Wash is designed to cleanse, mildly exfoliate, and rejuvenate the skin. By combining glycolic acid with plant extracts and vitamins, it aims to reduce dullness, support even tone, and maintain a healthy skin barrier. Regular use may result in improved texture and a more luminous, youthful appearance.

Key Features

Glycolic Acid (AHA)

Exfoliating agent to remove dead skin cells and promote cell renewal.

  • Enhances epidermal turnover, reducing hyperkeratosis and improving skin texture.
  • Results in smoother, brighter skin with a reduced appearance of dark spots and a more even skin tone.

Mechanism of Action: Glycolic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that penetrates the stratum corneum and weakens the bonds between corneocytes, facilitating desquamation and stimulating new cell generation. Enhances epidermal turnover, reducing hyperkeratosis and improving skin texture.

Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A Palmitate)

Promotes cell turnover and collagen production.

  • Reduces wrinkles and improves skin texture by promoting epidermal renewal.
  • Results in smoother, firmer skin with reduced signs of aging.

Mechanism of Action: Converted to retinol and then to retinoic acid in the skin. It binds to nuclear receptors, influencing gene expression to increase cell proliferation and collagen synthesis.

Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate)

Provides antioxidant protection

  • Prevents lipid peroxidation in skin cells, enhancing skin barrier function.
  • Helps maintain healthy skin and reduces signs of aging.

Mechanism of Action: A stable form of Vitamin E that, once absorbed, converts to free tocopherol. It neutralizes free radicals and protects cell membranes from oxidative damage.

Arnica Extract, Ginseng Extract, St. John’s Wort Extract

Soothing botanicals that help calm and tone.

  • Reduces redness or irritation from exfoliation.
  • Supports overall skin comfort and balance.

Mechanism of Action: Phytochemical Richness: Delivers antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits.

Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamide DEA

Surfactants for foaming and cleansing action.

  • Leaves skin clean without excessively stripping natural oils.
  • Produces a pleasing foam texture.

Mechanism of Action: Emulsification: Captures dirt and excess oil for thorough removal.
